Clamcleat CL278 Side Entry Racing Micros Port Cleats for 1–4 mm Rope, Silver or Hard Anodised
Clamcleat CL278 Side Entry Racing Micros is a compact aluminium rope cleat designed for ropes from 1 to 4 mm (3/64–5/32″).
The port-side entry fairlead allows the rope to be hooked into the cleat quickly for cleating and removed easily when required. The advanced tooth profile provides secure holding for a wide range of small-diameter ropes.
An integral becket underneath the cleat secures the rope end and allows a 2:1 purchase system to be rigged without an additional fixing point.
The CL278 is suitable for canoe and kayak seat and rudder lines, dinghy tiller lines and other compact rope-control applications.
The range is available in two finishes: CL278 with a silver stove-enamel finish and CL278AN with a hard-anodised finish for a harder-wearing surface.
